GT-VDE variable depth electrical imager
The GT-VDE variable depth electrical method imager is centered on advanced signal generator and sampling technology, and adopts a software-controlled all-digital design to realize the function of multi-channel synchronous acquisition, and adds wireless data transmission, hardware and software automatic filtering, software delay, software adjustable signal frequency or cycle number, standard IEEE802.11 communication protocol, automatic SIP all parameter setting and other functions. More convenient to use, faster operation, no need to set or adjust too many parameters. Any computer device with WLAN function can be used as display, processing and storage, such as portable computer and tablet computer, and the continuous working time can reach more than 8 hours.

Engineering case:
During the investigation of a railway subgrade, in order to find out the development of unfavorable geological bodies of a railway subgrade in a limestone area, two parallel survey lines were laid along the direction of the railway track by variable depth electric method, with a parallel distance of 5m. The exploration results and description of some drill cores are shown below.
It can be seen from the logarithmic contour map of the apparent resistivity of the east and west measurement lines that the overall apparent resistivity of the measurement area is low on the left and high on the right, thus the red line area in the delineation map is the dissolved fissure zone, and the right side is the complete bedrock area, and the results of the two measurement lines are almost the same;
It can be seen from the contour map of video dispersion rate of the east and west lines that the yellow coil fixed area in the map is a high frequency dispersion (>0.2) area, and all correspond to low resistivity, which is inferred to be a karst development area. In addition, before the groundwater level in the survey area and behind the clay layer, it is inferred that the karst cave is filled with soft clay.
The description of some drill cores in the survey area is consistent with the exploration results.
